Catch the Sun, 2011
Proposal created for the children’s entrance to the Denver Science Museum as one of a series of interactive works in the park site,.
The 14’ long cylinder 7’ in diameter structure lies on its side. Prisms are inserted in openings strategically placed according to the angles of the sun throughout the day. This is a sound as well as light instrument. We walk naturally through this space where prisms reveal the magic of light, always different.
