Objective Memory, 1998
Objective Memory is installed at the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, which was designed by Moshe Safdie. Each of the three elements explores the themes of nature and culture’s precarious balance.
The geometric volumes are lit from within. The pyramid has the constellation of the night sky cut out and a life-size polar bear in bronze poised on the pyramid’s point.
